Cargill and Integrated Genomics Sign Research Agreement in Microbial Genomics

CHICAGO, IL and Minneapolis, MN - July 22, 1999

Cargill, Inc. and Integrated Genomics, Inc. announced today a research and licensing agreement in the area of genomics of industrial microorganisms. Under the terms of the agreement, Integrated Genomics will sequence and analyze the genomes of microbial strains of interest to Cargill. Cargill will also license Integrated Genomics' bioinformatics tools, including the WIT-PRO™ genome analysis suite and biochemical and genomic databases.
