Integrated Genomics offers a wide variety for microarrays services including.

Microarray design
At Integrated Genomics, we design target sets using both the sequence and the gene annotations in ERGO™ that are networked into cellular pathways and larger biological subsystems.  Designing microarrays by considering the pathways and subsystems to be explored is a superior way to make functional discovery and physiological interpretation possible from the expression data.  Target set design for a single genome is not limited to protein-encoding genes.  Target sets can also be created that include RNAs or intergenic regions, and custom designs can include user-defined special features.

Composite genome microarray design
Integrated Genomics designs optimal target sets for composite microarrays that can be used to study multiple genomes and that maximize available spaces on expression chips. Composite chips can be created to study diverse genomes (for example in host-pathogen studies) and very similar genomes (for example multiple strains of the same microorganism).

Using proprietary DNA sequence clustering tools, Integrated Genomics’ scientists can identify all the conserved and unique protein-encoding genes, rRNAs and intergenic regions in the genome set.  It is also possible to develop custom designs for composite genomes based on user-defined special features.

Data integration and pathway analysis in ERGO™
The Microarray Analysis tools in ERGO™ present expression data in the context of the networked pathways that are up and down regulated.  This provides meaningful physiological analyses of the microarray experiment.  The ERGO™ Microarray Analysis tools also provide a powerful way to identify functions for unknown genes.
